Whales 2 Day 8

Channel 2! Our favorite radio station. As we listen to morning pop heading to Ardelle once again, we think about the different knots to use while sailing on Ardelle. Sailing without motor power was incredible but surprisingly difficult. The schooner depended solely on wind. After easing out of the harbor, we enjoyed a chill, cool day over the waves; we even picked out turtle killers like hats, balloon, and plastic. It was enjoyable that we could apply what we learned about wind, sails, and knots while we were sailing.
Back on Lady Maryland, we presented our projects about whales, estuaries, and boats. Everyone shared what they learned from their research and it was weird to think that our journey is almost to an end...
Apparently for every end of a trip, the crew of Lady Maryland does a cleaning, composed of thorough water cleaning and bunk sanitation.
