Whales 2 Day 6

Today we had an early morning. After cleaning the dishes and prepping for the shipbuilding museum, we got a check in to share and discuss our thoughts on Lady Maryland. We all felt a little homesick, especially when we were doing chores because we don’t do as much back in home. The usual highs were the museums we were lucky to visit and Michael’s delicious food that we always think of, the usual lows were that Lady Maryland was out of the waters. Then we had time to brainstorm and think about our final project, which was flexible but a little challenging.
The shipbuilding museum at Essex was dusty and old. We were easily convinced that the place was full of important antiques and historic records on handimade shipbuilding. Particioatepingin mock shipbuilding was an experience of a lifetime. Then we visited The Adventure which was a large Gloucester schooner. The next stop was at Cape Pond Ice, which was an interesting historic site of the ice industry that started in the 1600s.
