CTY Whales Trip 1 |session 2| Day 1-2 Learning by doing

First day exited for our new adventure in the Lady Maryland. The wind was blowing hard and the sun was perfect. We met the crew, they are awesome people.  We met the Captain , First and second mate and all the rest of the crew. We had a tour around the boat and to the smallest and coolest toilet of the planet. The food was great. The best part of eating is that we work as a team to clean up the dishes. We learned the importance of conserving water and communication. They showed us our beds and we got ready for a new day. Woke up early !!! We where ready to keep learning and doing. The breakfast was perfect... a nice beefhash, scrambled eggs and blueberry muffins ,yum! We learned about estuaries and water sheds. Also the importance of having trees that help us in the control of sediments and polution factors running in to our oceans. We went to an awesome museum. The whale museum of New Bedford . It was a pretty cool museum filled with whale skeletons. We arrived to the boat and we did an awesome job doing the dishes in a record time. Our day has been perfect and we are enjoying so much. Anxious for a next day of Learning and Doing.
