Weather Update

Good Morning families!

Lisa, Director of Shipboard Education here - I just wanted to give you an update on the group considering the weather forecast.  Everyone is fine!!!  The group enjoyed some time ashore yesterday at the Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum in New York, then got underway to head up the Long Island Sound.  Yesterday we made arrangements to be at a very secure and very protected dock to ride out the storm.  When Captain Michael called the Dock Master to inquire about the space he was assured that we'd have the safest docking spot in the harbor, much to the dismay of several local fishermen who were vying for the same spot!  Lady Maryland will be securely located at that dock by late morning.  The crew intends to keep the group busy with lots of learning and fun as they let Arthur pass.  Once the storm has moved out of the area later this weekend, the boat will get back to it's regularly scheduled program.  Enjoy your holiday!
