July 1, 2014 (Trip 1, Day 2)

Hello from the Lady Maryland! We've been practicing navigation skills, learning about the parts of the boat and what it's like to both live and work aboard here. The meals have been delicious thanks to our cook and the weather has been clear, even if the waves have been a bit rough on our stomachs. Everyone seems to be really coming into their own, with the help of amazing instructors and the Lady Maryland crew. We're looking forward to the next part of the trip and are excited to learn more about whales, estuaries and life at sea!
