Is this really the end?!

AHOY!

Just tell me why.... this is our LAST post aboard the Lady Maryland! We spent our last 2 full days aboard sailing through Buzzards Bay and the Cape Cod Canal. Once we got into the bay, we dropped the anchor, played the Disney soundtrack and cleaned the ship from top to bottom. One of the lovely crew members showed us how to make a Turks head bracelet and played her ukulele for us singing some of our favorite songs. The first mate taught us a fun new game which involved our artistic skills! Our starry night was split into our anchor watches where we looked for planets and named the constellations. The crew had set up the schooner olympics where they tested our skills and knowledge of the one and only Lady Maryland! After the olympics we had one last swim call! We would love to thank the whole crew of the Lady Maryland for keeping us focused when in doubt and teaching us a bunch of new things. We cannot thank them enough for making us feel at home and as one of the crew. We are bummed that our last days have came to an end, but we are looking forward to what is in store on land.

Over and out,
Lady Maryland
